Every Story Has Its Beginning
Administrator Captain Jack Sparrow Administrator Captain James Norrington	The Dark Years It was a time before Jack Sparrow ever met James Norrington as Commander of the marines of the Royal Navy in Port Royal. But meet him he would eventually and it was also when Hector Barbossa was on good terms as his first mate. "Bootstrap" Bill Turner was a part of his crew and also had a son that would later become one of Jack's greatest allies. Yes, it was when he was the Captain of The Black Pearl and became one of the most notorious pirates in all The Caribbean. It was also when a man named Cutler Beckett began to regain the trust of The Crown after being betrayed by a former privateer named Jack Sparrow and branding him as a pirate. Now after sending Lieutenant James Norrington to escort the new Governor of Port Royal, Weatherby Swann and his daughter Elizabeth he has began to make his foothold in The Caribbean. It is also his hope that James Norrington and his leadership shall bring law and order to Port Royal and put an end to the piracy that threatens it. By doing so it shall open trade routes to The New World for The East India Trading Company. However a daring raid on Port Royal by The Black Pearl threatens that very plan and may cause Cutler Beckett to have to take matters into his own hands. And then there is also the story of Davy Jones and how Jack Sparrow made a deal with him to have his ship brought back from the depths. But was it just a story? Shall you be a pirate and sail The Seven Seas in search of adventure? Or perhaps an officer of The East India Trading Company or The Royal Navy to help eliminate piracy? Maybe your preference is as a civilian caught in the chaos? Note: This rpg takes place before COTBP Canons and original characters being accepted! Character of the Month Hector Barbossa Blackheart News from Port Royal: Port Royal is being raided by pirates from The Black Pearl commanded by Captain Jack Sparrow. Under disguise they crashed the masquerade being held at The Governor's Mansion and also kidnapped Captain James Norrington. It is also rumored that a young lady by the name of Miss Elsbeth Caldwell was also taken hostage. A young woman named Lady Millicent Carrington has vowed revenge upon the pirates News from Tortuga: The natives of Tortuga have heard rumors about The East India Trading Company strengthening its hold in The Caribbean and are also feeling the effects from the methods of James Norrington and The Royal Navy. They are currently trying to plan a course of action.
